At Disruptive Nutrition, we strive to teach our clients that food isn't good or bad - food serves our body, food serves our soul, and we need both.
Instead of focusing on caloric deprivation, restriction, or eliminating food groups, clients are taught to eat small, balanced meals comprised of all three macronutrients (protein, fat, and carbohydrates) every three to four hours throughout the day to keep their blood sugar stable.
This concept called PFC3, proven after decades of working with tens of thousands of clients over the years, was first introduced to the world by NY Times Best Selling Author, Mark Macdonald who eventually partnered with Carrie because of her unique approach to improving the work he initially started. Carrie and Mark own the brand PFC3 and mentor nutritionists, fitness professionals, doctors, physical therapists and others in the health industry to understand and coach this approach.

Blood sugar stabilization is our body’s love language and achieving it goes beyond just food, but also by learning about our 6 spinning plates (movement, hydration, sleep, supplementation and managing stress). Our approach taps into the nuances of each of these for each individual client, to help them spin their plates within their own circumstances and lifestyle.
After an initial few weeks of working with us and their personal coach, our clients are given the opportunity to wear a continuous glucose monitor to give them deeper insight into how their body is responding to their food choices and their 6 spinning plates.
In addition to blood sugar stabilization, we also emphasize the importance of choosing fruits and vegetables as carbohydrates, choosing healthy fats, limiting refined sugars, and eating whole, unprocessed foods as much as possible.
Eating in this way creates an optimal foundation for our bodies to thrive.
